Today I participated in mass production.


The past couple of days I have spent a few hours at my friend's job helping them out in their shipping department. Basically I was making box after box (after box, after box). Mindless work, pretty darn boring - it reminded me of one of my college summer jobs working in a factory making welders. That was boring too. Oh the joys of mass production!

Seriously though what are the consequences of mass production? Put Edward Burtynsky's documentary, Manufactured Landscapes, on your netflix queue (if you haven't seen it) and start thinking about those consequences.
